why our workshop?
I (Helen) always struggled with creating digital design renders and felt like I couldn’t match peers within the industry. From that frustration I developed this signature design building technique and the Sneaker Sculptures workshop was born. Why stare at a blank sketchbook searching for inspiration when there is another way. Sneakers are physical objects, with 360 angles, not a flat one sided image!

Our workshop guides you to create unique designs, build something original and have fun along the way. Get out of you’re head and instantly into the materials, so you can create designs that you would have never have imagined from drawing alone. Find new value in waste material and challenge yourself to see how creative you can be using just your household waste as raw material!
Designing this way helps you to spontaneously engage with your ideas and make design decisions in a playful and carefree way. You can stop analysing what makes the “perfect” design and instead make something unexpected by being inspired by what you find around you.
